Swimming sisters to take on the best

Two swimming sisters are looking forward to taking on the best in the country after both qualifying for prestigious national swimming finals.

Ripon Grammar School student Nadine Wilson, 14, from Dishforth, qualified for four events: 100m and 200m butterfly, 200m backstroke and 400m individual medley.

Dauntsey’s Students Tackle Brecons Challenge

Two Lower Sixth students, Freddie and Oscar, have won the Dauntsey’s adventure race, the Brecons Challenge. The race, held in June annually in the Brecon Beacons, involves running over Pen y Fan, Cribyn and Fan y Big (approximately 10 km in distance and 850 m of ascent), followed by a 21 km mountain bike ride through the forest to the Monmouth Canal, to then jump into kayaks to paddle 7 km to the finish line in the centre of Brecon.
