After a string of top performances in the British Physics Olympiad and the British Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad, Fraser C has been invited to attend the Astro Training Camp at the University of Oxford where they will select the team who will represent the UK in the International Olympiad on Astronomy & Astrophysics in Brazil.
To achieve this he scored a ‘Top Gold’ in Round 1 of the British Physics Olympiad (top 6%) and ‘Top Gold’ in Round 1 of the British Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad (top 5 students). He was then invited to take Round 2, where he scored ‘Silver’ in British Physics Olympiad and ‘Gold’ in the British Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad (top 14 students).
This puts him in the top 24 students of the 3500 initial entries to these highly challenging and prestigious competitions. This is testament to the extraordinary effort and dedication Fraser has shown, and we wish him the best of luck at the Astro Training Camp!
