BSA Group, which comprises several associations and subsidiariesΒ includingΒ BSA,Β has announcedΒ aΒ new trading nameΒ ofΒ Abitas Group.Β
The new name is accompanied by an updated mission statement:Β
“Supporting young people, adults and organisations to be safe, well and included.”Β
And a new address:Β 50 Princes Street, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP1 1RJ.Β
“Our new identity as Abitas Group better represents who we are today and the wide range of services we provide,” said Robin Fletcher, CEO.Β “As our work has evolved, it became increasingly important that our name reflects the breadth of our support while maintaining the trusted expertise and high standards our members and partners expect.”Β
While the Group’s name and visual identity are changing, its structure and services are not. There will be no change to individual associations.Β
BSAΒ in particular remainsΒ the world’s largest network and support provider for boarding schools. And the introduction ofΒ Abitas Group reduces any confusion or need to explain the difference between BSA and BSA Group.
Robin added:Β “This is a change in name, not in purpose. We will continue delivering the same high-quality services and support while strengthening an identity that reflects our vision for the future.”Β
