An art exhibition that celebrates Black History Month is being hosted by DLD College London.
Artists with work on display include Jean-Michel Basquiat, Hurvin Anderson, Frank Bowling, Deborah Roberts and Chris Ofili, alongside the work of the late playwright Bonnie Greer.
James Kidd, Executive Principal at DLD College London, said: βAt DLD College London, we believe art has the power to challenge perspectives, inspire curiosity and bring people together.
βThese values are central to our school ethos of tolerance, respect, academic curiosity, community and kindness.
βThrough this exhibition, we hope to encourage students to embrace different viewpoints, question assumptions and develop a deeper appreciation of the cultures, experiences and creative voices.
βWe are grateful to Michael Whitfield for his thoughtful and imaginative curation, which has brought these artistsβ work together to create a meaningful celebration of Black History Month.β
DLD College London is an independent co-ed day and boarding school on Londonβs South Bank for students aged 13-plus.
