St. Francis’ College Nursery is proud to announce that it has been awarded a Strong Standard rating following its Ofsted inspection in March 2026, a significant achievement within less than three years of opening.
The report highlights that children at St. Francis’ College Nursery make clear progress from their starting points, showing confidence, independence, and strong communication skills. Inspectors also recognised the calm and supportive environment, where children feel safe, valued, and able to build positive relationships.
Ofsted praised the inclusive approach at St. Francis’ College Nursery, noting that all children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, are well supported through carefully planned interventions and strong partnerships with families. Leadership was described as motivated and focused on maintaining high standards.
Natalie Green, St. Francis’ College Nursery Manager, said:
“We are incredibly proud that St. Francis’ College Nursery is part of the Inspired Learning Group in receiving a Strong Standard Ofsted Rating, as it reflects the shared values and high standards across the whole group. Children are truly at the heart of our nursery, and we are committed to giving every child the very best start in life within a safe, caring, and inspiring environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive.”
She added:
“This recognition means a great deal to our team, who feel privileged to be part of each child’s journey and who bring genuine dedication and warmth to their roles every day. We are proud to be part of a group that shares our vision and commitment, and this award is both a celebration of that wider community and a reminder to continue supporting children as they begin their early learning experiences.”
Alongside its Ofsted success, St. Francis’ College Nursery is also part of a wider group recognised with a Top 20 Day Nursery award, reflecting the strength of its provision and shared values and is also part of an all-through school, with many of its children choosing to transition into The Prep and Senior School.
James Emanuel, Head of Prep at St. Francis’ College, said:
“The team of excellent teachers and practitioners at the College aim to deliver a consistently high-quality level of education for our children every day. Whenever we have visitors who also recognise this, it makes the whole team feel proud. We are delighted to have received a strong Ofsted Report under the new inspection framework, which reflects the dedication of our staff, the support from our families and our aspiration for continual improvement.”
