Freemen’s School Awarded Wellbeing Award for Schools

Posted: 7th May 2026

Earlier this year, City of London Freemen’s School has been awarded the prestigious Wellbeing Award for Schools by Optimus Education, recognising its outstanding whole-school approach to pupil wellbeing. The Surrey co-educational day and boarding school for ages 7–18 places pastoral care at the heart of school life, supported by strong staff-pupil relationships and an inclusive culture. In its most recent inspection, ISI described pastoral care at Freemen’s as a significant strength, noting how well pupils feel supported, confident and able to flourish both academically and personally.
