Accelerating through the ranks of British and European karting, 14-year-old
Felsted School pupil Will A is showing strong future podium potential.
In his fourth year of competition, Will has shown he is not afraid to give much more experienced drivers a run for their money in the Senior Rotax arena. He is already London Cup Junior Rotax Champion and finished in the top 15 in the British Kart Championship. Earlier this year he finished eighth in Cremona and sixth at the PFI Winter Cup and is starting to attract attention as a motorsport talent to watch for the future.
Now racing for one of the leading teams in UK and European karting, KR Sport, Will is developing within a professional environment renowned for producing national and world champions. KR Sport Team Principal Ash Orchard describes him as ‘a serious talent’ with the ability to win at Senior Rotax level in 2026.
‘My ambition is to become a professional racing driver,’ says Will, who first began to race at the age of 10. ‘After five years of karting the next step is to compete in the British F4 championship in 2027.’
Will follows in the tyre tracks of past Felsted pupils, including Gus Burton and Tom Fleming, who have gone on to enjoy successful careers behind the wheel.
