Huish students and staff have come together this Christmas to support Arc, a local charity dedicated to helping those facing homelessness.
The college’s Volunteering for Arc EnRiCH group crafted and sold heart-shaped decorations, raising £60 in aid of Arc. In addition, students donated goods for Arc’s ‘Bags of Joy’ initiative, resulting in 61 Bags of Joy being created for individuals experiencing homelessness this Christmas.
Mel Kubicki, organiser at Huish, shared: “It has been a privilege supporting Arc this festive season. Seeing the generosity and enthusiasm from our students and staff has been truly inspiring. We have an amazing community, thank you.”
Sam Parr, Fundraising and Communications Officer at Arc, expressed gratitude “A heartfelt thank you to the entire college community for supporting our Christmas campaign. Your generosity is helping us bring joy and comfort to those who need it most this season. We truly appreciate you!”
Huish is proud to support Arc and looks forward to continuing its commitment to community engagement and charitable initiatives.
