St. Francis’ College students are celebrating an exceptional set of GCSE results this year. Over 70% of all grades awarded were at 9-7 (equivalent to A*-A), with nearly half (47.4%) at grade 8 or above.
St. Francis’ College students are celebrating an exceptional set of GCSE results this year. Over 70% of all grades awarded were at 9-7 (equivalent to A*-A), with nearly half (47.4%) at grade 8 or above. Impressively, 22.2% of all results were awarded the top grade 9, reflecting the remarkable commitment and talent of our Year 11 students.
Among the many individual successes:
- Louise and Bethan each achieved 9 grade 9s
- Chloe and Inaya both achieved 8 grade 9s
- Kali was awarded 6 grade 9s
Further congratulations go to Robin, Hannah, Alisha, Shivani, Browen, Iliana, Sarah, Charlotte, Carina, Georgia, and Elly, who each achieved grade 8 or above in 5 or more subjects, an outstanding accomplishment.
Mrs Kelly-Reid, Head of Year 11, said: “We are beyond elated with our fantastic students and their wonderful achievements. Their hard work, determination and resilience are a testament to their outstanding GCSE results. Not only are we extremely proud of their excellent GCSE results, but the strong and accomplished young people our Year 11s have grown to be. We are excited to see where this exciting journey will take them.”
