Posted: 3rd June 2025

There was lots of fun, sunshine and bursts of colour filling the air during the inaugural Moor Park Colour Run.

This wonderful event saw over 100 children and their grown-ups tackle a 1km colour explosion obstacle course set around the picturesque grounds of Moor Park School all with the objective of raising money for the school’s chosen charity, Hope House Children’s Hospice.

The staff and parent body were also delighted to be involved in this whole school community event, and were stationed throughout the course armed in total with over 80kgs of coloured powder to shower of students as they ran the course.

Raffle tickets sold like hot cakes, with the prize being the opportunity to gunge the headmaster with 10kgs of blue slime, won by three very delighted children.

Over £1,000 was raised for Hope House Children’s Hospice.
