Posted: 1st September 2023

Strathallan Prep School is delighted to announce that current staff members, Mr Glyn Gardiner and Miss Rona Leese will take on new roles this year as they become Assistant Heads in the flourishing Prep School.

Head of Strathallan Prep School, Emma Lalani, said, “I’m delighted to formally announce Rona and Glyn as our new Assistant Heads, their support and advice has already been invaluable since the launch of the Prep School four years ago. I am very fortunate to have a fantastic team of teachers and support staff at the Prep School who care deeply about the welfare and wellbeing of all our pupils and strive for excellence in everything we do.”

Miss Leese, who will be focused on Key Stages 1 & 2 said, “I’m so excited. With the introduction of Key Stage 1 this year and our youngest pupils ever, we are keen to set a good foundation for their school journey. I have a great team, who all agree that school should be magical, so we can’t wait to welcome our pupils and get started.

Mr Gardiner, who will be in charge of Key Stage 3, said, “It’s an exciting time at Strathallan. Ultimately, we are here to support Emma with running of the Prep School and I’m looking forward to bringing First and Second Form together and ensure that their education is the best that it can be.”

Strathallan Prep School recently announced the expansion of its educational provision down to the age of 5 in order to keep up with demand following four years of growth. Designs for an ambitious new Prep School building have been submitted to Perth and Kinross Council earlier this year.
