Second at Madeira Biathle & Laser Run!
Leweston athletes travel to Madeira for Biathle competition and receive a silver medal.
Two Leweston School pupils represented GB Pentathlon at the International Biathle & Laser Run in Madeira at the end of June.
Matthew P, Year 11, took part in the U17 Biathle, in which he finished a fantastic fifth in a very tough race. Izzy W, Year 8, took part in the U15 Laser Run. Izzy had a great race to finish in second and bring home the Silver medal!
This was a brilliant opportunity to help prepare for upcoming events and both athletes have been selected for the GB team for the European championships at Marathon, Greece in October. Well done!
