St Peterโs School, York, will host a series of events for York Literature Festival this year for the first time since 2019.
The York Literature Festival was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to Covid restrictions, but the popular festival returns this year from 18-27 March with a fantastic programme of talks, six of which will be hosted by St Peterโs School, York.
The line-up of talks at St Peterโs School begins on Saturday 19 March with author Sarah Maine, and continues with an audience with the Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen on Sunday 20 March.
On Monday 21 March St Peterโs welcomed Jonathan Calvery and George Arbuthnott for a talk entitled โFailures of State: The Inside Story of Britainโs Battle with Coronavirusโ, whilst activist and politician Magid Magid will talk about โThe Art of Disruptionโ on Friday 25 March.
Author and journalist Simon Jenkins will introduce the audience to โEuropeโs 100 Best Cathedralsโ on Saturday 26 March before the programme of events concludes on Sunday 27 March with celebrated Scottish crime writer Val McDermid.
