Two Lower Sixth students, Freddie and Oscar, have won the Dauntseyβs adventure race, the Brecons Challenge. The race, held in June annually in the Brecon Beacons, involves running over Pen y Fan, Cribyn and Fan y Big (approximately 10 km in distance and 850 m of ascent), followed by a 21 km mountain bike ride through the forest to the Monmouth Canal, to then jump into kayaks to paddle 7 km to the finish line in the centre of Brecon.
