Kingswood is celebrating three recent national award successes, with The Telegraph celebrating the Schoolβs value for money, alongside further recognition from Independent School Parent and Talk Education.
The Telegraph has recognised Kingswood for its value for money, awarding the School a βVery Goodβ rating β the highest category in its latest analysis of independent schools. The guide compares schools across the UK using academic results, fees and facilities. Kingswood is one of a small group of schools to receive the highest βVery Goodβ rating, placing it among the strongest performers in the Telegraphβs analysis.
Andrew Gordon-Brown, Headmaster of Kingswood, said: βItβs particularly pleasing to see Kingswood recognised by The Telegraph in this way, and to know that what we offer is delivering real value for families. At a time when families are facing difficult choices and the independent schoolsβ sector is under real pressure, providing a strong education alongside good value is more important than ever.β
And there is further recognition for Kingswood. The School has been commended at the 2026 Independent Schools of the Year Awards, in the Co-educational Independent School of the Year category. Run by Independent School Parent, the awards are among the leading national awards for the independent schools sector, recognising schools for their achievements across 25 categories.
Kingswood was also shortlisted for a Talk Education Award for Innovation in Education, in the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion category. The recognition followed an 18-month process of reviewing policies and curriculum content, staff training and working with pupils through pupil-led groups, events and initiatives.
