BSA’s National Boarding Week celebrations concluded on Sunday June 21, following a week of fun, creativity and community across boarding schools in the UK and around the world.
This yearβs celebrations were given a special 60th anniversary twist, with schools embracing a programme of themed activities including the 60 Acts of Kindness Challenge, Literacy Legends Day, The Diamond Games, BSA Masterchef, a Birthday Bonanza, annual Big Boarding Camp Out and even a Jubilee Jam to tie in with World Music Day.
National Boarding Week continues to showcase the enjoyment, friendships, opportunities and sense of belonging that boarding provides, helping to spread the #iloveboarding message far and wide. Since its launch 9 years ago, the initiative has encouraged boarding communities to celebrate what makes boarding such a unique and positive experience for young people.
Thank you to all the schools, staff and boarders who got involved and engaged so enthusiastically with this year’s activities. The wonderful participation from members has helped make this yearβs celebrations one of the most memorable yet!
We loved seeing the many photos, videos and stories shared throughout the week and look forward to building on this momentum as we continue to champion boarding excellence and celebrate everything that makes us proud to say #iloveboarding.
