Students from Falkland Islands Community School have made an excellent start to their boarding experience at Burford School, quickly settling into life within the school’s welcoming boarding community.
The Year 10 Arts students arrived with enthusiasm and have embraced the opportunities that boarding offers. From unpacking and making themselves at home to becoming familiar with daily routines, the students have adapted confidently to their new environment.
Staff have been delighted by the students’ positive attitude and engagement, while the group has been particularly impressed by Burford’s beautiful setting, historic buildings, and extensive facilities. The experience is providing a valuable opportunity for personal growth, independence, and cultural exchange.
