Millfield Prep School swimmers have won a prestigious national competition for the 38th year in a row.
The successful 33-strong squad who attended the IAPS (Independent Association of Prep Schools) National Swimming Finals in London, were crowned the overall IAPS champions last week. Both the girls and boys team claimed the top spots for the 38th consecutive year for the girls and 24th for the boys.
Millfield Prep swimming coach Maria Jones commented: “It was a fantastic team effort, with every swimmer racing with determination and showing great team spirit throughout, supporting each other and rising brilliantly to the occasion”.
Millfield Prep School, located in Glastonbury, is the best sports school in the country for 12 years as rated by School Sports Magazine.
