Posted: 26th February 2026

St Leonards School is proud to announce that pupil Dominic Allen has been officially selected to represent ParalympicsGB at the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games Milano‑Cortina (6–15 March 2026). Dominic’s selection is an exceptional achievement — at just 16 years old, he is the youngest athlete named to the 2026 ParalympicsGB team and one of only 25 athletes chosen to compete for Great Britain this year.

Dominic will compete in Para Alpine Skiing, taking part in both Slalom and Giant Slalom in the standing category. A passionate skier from a young age, he has already established himself on the international stage with multiple podium performances. His selection marks a remarkable milestone as he prepares to represent his country at the highest level of Paralympic sport.

Head Simon Brian said:
“We are beyond proud of Dominic’s selection for ParalympicsGB. It is a phenomenal achievement for Dominic and a moment of such pride for the entire St Leonards community. His talent, discipline, resilience and quiet determination truly stand out; Dominic is an inspiration to our pupils and staff, and we will be cheering him on all the way to Milano Cortina.”

Dominic’s selection is a special moment for St Leonards School, highlighting the exceptional talent nurtured within our school community. As the youngest member of ParalympicsGB 2026, Dominic embodies the ambition, resilience and pursuit of excellence that define a St Leonards education.

To celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime achievement, the School will host a special send-off celebration for Dom on Friday, 27 February 2026 at 12.45pm on campus in St Andrews. Members of the press are warmly invited to attend, meet Dominic and share in the excitement as he prepares to travel to Italy.
