The Huish community ‘helped thy neighbour’ at the end of term by packing and donating hampers as part of the Help Thy Neighbour appeal. Christmas hampers for local families in need were filled with donations, including tinned food, snacks, toiletries and Christmas treats.
On Thursday the 11th of December, student volunteers spent time sorting and packing the gifts ready for collection the following day – an amazing 70 hampers were handed over to the Help Thy Neighbour team in total!
Huish would like to thank the Business, Marketing & Management team for coordinating this wonderful college initiative, and to everyone who donated items or helped prepare the hampers. Your kindness makes a real difference. A special shout out also goes to Davitt Jones Bould, the Huish Law Society sponsor, for their generous hamper donation – thank you!
