We hope you managed some sort of break last week and that this term has got off to a good start.

 

Are you hoping to join the Schools Allergy Register but concerned that there is lots of work to do until you’re ready to sign up? From speaking to schools this week I know this is a common concern and so I wanted to write to reassure you that you don’t have to have everything in place to join us. In fact, the whole process of joining the Register has been structured to support you with your allergy management, every step of the way.

 

We will work with you to identify what you are already doing well and where policies and procedures need tightening up. You get access to our CPD-accredited online training for all your staff, access to our expert webinar series and one-to-one mentoring, as well as template documents and anaphylaxis drills. Then, when you’re ready, we can assess your school and you’ll receive our trust mark.

The good news is that even schools in the process of joining are featured on the Register – you can take a look at the list here.

 

Joining costs from £750 + VAT a year.
