How prepared is your school’s IT strategy for the years ahead?

Across the independent sector, schools are navigating a complex mix of financial pressure, evolving teaching needs, cybersecurity risk, and increasing expectations around digital experience. At the same time, technology decisions are becoming more strategic—impacting not just IT teams, but the wider pupil, staff, and parent experience.

To better understand how schools are approaching these challenges, the Devices from Education by HardSoft are conducting an Independent Schools IT Readiness Survey.

The aim is simple: to build a clearer, evidence-based view of current priorities, investment plans, and the practical realities schools are facing today. The findings will be shared to help inform more confident, well-aligned decision-making across the sector.

As a token of our appreciation for your time:

  • The first 25 respondents will receive a Greggs breakfast voucher
  • All participants will be entered into a prize draw to win an Apple iPad

The survey takes only a few minutes to complete and will remain open until 30 June 2026. If you’re involved in IT, finance, or operational leadership within a school, your perspective would be highly valuable.
