Edgeborough Changing Facilities Wins Primary Project of the Year at MMC Awards 2025 #ad

Posted: 20th August 2025

TG Escapes is proud to announce that our changing facilities project at Edgeborough School has been named Primary Project of the Year at the 2025 Modern Methods of Construction Awards.

Edgeborough, a BSA member, commissioned TG Escapes to design and build a new changing pavilion to support their pupils’ wellbeing and sports provision. The resulting timber-framed, eco-friendly structure replaced an outdated facility with a modern, naturally ventilated, and fully accessible space, including changing rooms, showers, toilets, and storage.

Designed with sustainability and pupil needs in mind, the building uses modular techniques to reduce disruption on site and deliver quality outcomes with minimal environmental impact. Large skylights maximise natural light and connection to the school’s green surroundings, creating a calm, welcoming environment for pupils aged 7 to 13.

Sarah Riley, Bursar at Edgeborough School, said:

“Working with TG Escapes has been a seamless and rewarding experience from start to finish. Their professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail have resulted in a truly outstanding facility that enhances our school in both form and function. The end result is not just a building, but a transformational space that will benefit our pupils and staff for years to come.”

This recognition highlights the importance of high-quality, sustainable learning environments and the role modern construction methods can play in delivering them efficiently.
