ISBA Charity Challenge #advert

Food procurement experts allmanhall discussed over £14M of food spend with Independent and Boarding schools across the country at the recent ISBA Annual Conference in Manchester.

Why does that matter? Because before Manchester allmanhall promised that, for every £10,000 of food spend discussed with schools, they would undertake one mile for charity by the end of the year.

allmanhall always do what they say they’ll do – it’s in their DNA – and they’re passionate about real results, when it comes to saving money for our clients… and when it comes to taking on charity challenge!

When it comes to community, allmanhall wanted to do something special for local charity, Jamie’s Farm, who they have been supporting for over a decade, so the allmanhall team are now committed to their goal of undertaking 1,400 miles to raise as much money as possible.

What does that actually mean for the allmanhall team? They’ll be walking, running, cycling, skating, wheelchairing and swimming a total of 1400 miles around the country (virtually), “passing” schools like yours on their route and coming back to rest at Jamie’s Farm in Wiltshire. Having raised a great deal of money for them!

In previous years, several of the allmanhall team have run the Bath Half for Jamie’s Farm, and with 50 people now working there, even more team members are rising to the challenge of completing those 1400 miles by the 2nd of September, before the start of term.

Here’s what a few of the team have committed to do…

allmanhall is owner-managed by husband and wife team, Oliver Hall & Jo Hall. They will both be walking, running, playing tennis and chasing after their two children on their bikes to put in the miles!

Rachel Upton will be pounding the hills, as will Tess Warnes, who will also be playing football regularly, like other members of the allmanhall team – the mileage all counts, even on the pitch!

Harry Jeffery will be hiking his way around the country, although he is most fond of the Lake District as one of his favourite locations to hike.

Ten days in and everyone is going great guns on the challenge for Jamie’s Farm. Together, allmanhall have already completed 350 miles of their 1400-mile challenge and have reached Preston (virtually) – an amazing achievement!

Tess Warnes is currently top of the leader board, closely followed by Jo Hall and Harry Jeffery.

Now comes the serious bit. The allmanhall team would really appreciate any help or support you can give by donating to their fundraising page: https://www.justgiving.com/page/allmanhall-isba-jamies?utm_medium=FR&utm_source=CL&utm_campaign=015

allmanhall only have until the 2nd of September to reach those 1400 miles for Jamie’s Farm… keep up to date with their progress by following them at https://www.linkedin.com/company/allmanhall/.

Moreover, with allmanhall’s expert help to make catering budgets go further, to negotiate with suppliers and through effective procurement processes, that £14M food spend discussed at Conference could be reduced to £10-12M, giving the incredible Independent and Boarding schools essential savings or money back to invest in the children, in facilities, in the school community and their wider school teams. But they won’t reduce their 1400-mile target – they’ve committed to delivering on that!
