On Friday (24 May 2024), ACS International School Egham bid farewell to its Class of 2024 with its annual formal graduation ceremony.
Ahead of students receiving their exam results in July, the graduation saw the international school congratulate its departing student cohort, representing over 30 nationalities, as they approach the end of their time at ACS Egham and move on to the next step.
ACS Egham’s Head of School, Mark Wilson, said: “Congratulations to this year’s graduates! After seeing them work hard at every turn, culminating the school year in celebration is a proud moment for all of us at ACS Egham. As students move on to new opportunities, there is no doubt that they will take the resilience and dedication they have learned with them into the future. We cannot wait to see what impact on the world they will have.”
As part of the ceremony, students gathered to hear reflections from their peers and guest speakers, alongside musical performances. ACS Egham recognised the impressive achievements of notable students with awards, including the Leadership Award and the Valedictorian awarded to Lucy S. and Sofia P. respectively.
65% of the Class of 2024 from ACS Egham will be attending prestigious universities in the UK such as UCL, Imperial College, King’s College, Bath and Edinburgh.
As the only school in England to exclusively offer all four International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum programmes, ACS Egham provides an internationally-recognised curriculum for students from Egham, the surrounding area and all over the world.
