BSA Irish Boarding Conference 2022

Delegates from more than 20 boarding schools in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland gathered on November 22 for the fifth Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA) Irish Boarding Forum Annual Conference kindly hosted by The King’s Hospital School, Dublin.

Conference host and The King’s Hospital School Head, Mark Ronan, was joined by senior staff from the BSA team and a range of external speakers.

The conference discussed themes including chaplaincy in boarding, the impact of covid on leadership and management, gender identity issues, student learning and finished with an informative child protection and safeguarding update from BSA Senior Director Dale Wilkins.

BSA Group CEO Robin Fletcher said: “This was the forum’s fifth consecutive conference and was a brilliant chance to come together and catch up with colleagues in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Our thanks go to The King’s Hospital School for excellent and generous hosting.”
