Every Monday, students at Oxford International College (OIC) Brighton enjoy a specialist coaching session with specialists from Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club as part of its Super Curricular Programme. The College’s strategic approach ensures students have access to opportunities that provide tangible outcomes for personal and academic success.

Each weekly session is designed to develop students’ technical football skills as well as leadership, teamwork and communication to ensure they are prepared to become successful individuals, on and off the pitch.

Thomas Galvin, Super Curricular Manager at OIC Brighton said: “The Super Curricular Programme is so much more than a traditional or extra-curriculum programme. It brings together all of the activities and experiences that help prepare our students for university and their future careers. The football coaching sessions are just one of many experiences that our students can enjoy.”

Dan Garrett, Coach of Brighton and Hove Albion Foundation, said: “Our coaching sessions at OIC Brighton are a fantastic opportunity for us to work with a group of great young people and help them to develop their footballing skills. We are really enjoying working with the players and their attitude towards the sport and their peers has been excellent.”
