The BSA Boarding Research Fellowship, launched by the Boarding Schools’ Association in 2016, gives an experienced senior member of the boarding community the opportunity to undertake a unique research opportunity.
The successful applicant will visit three boarding schools of their choice and will collate their data in a research project analysing the different schools and their boarding provision.

Please note that the form must be signed by the Head of the school as authorisation of leave for the three days’ leave.
The fellow will present their findings at the Annual BSA / TIOB Boarding Conference in June 2023.
The deadline for applications is July 29, 2022. It expected the successful applicant will begin their research in the Autumn term.
All applications must have the permission of the Head to apply for the Fellowship. All applicants must make sure their research proposal is compatible with boarding legislation and guidelines.
Applicants may only submit one application per year.
