An exciting end to British Science week with a visit from a pop-up planetarium where pupils enjoyed viewing the stars and learning about outer space. A host of other activities included an ecosystem game in which Year 7 looked at interactions between individuals in a web and the impact of environmental factors on numbers and Year 10 modelled how the Ghost Plant uses fungi to steal the nutrients from trees using drainpipes!

Hi I have two albums of photos taken at what appears to be a boarding school in 1945/6. I don't know the school - there is only one photo showing any part of the exterior. The photos are excellent - the master who took them was clearly a gifted amateur. I'd like to try to trace the school and ask if they'd like the albums for their archives. I've attempted to scan the one with the exterior. It's firmly glued into the album, so apologies for the poor quality.

The Emma Pattison Award for Compassionate Leadership has been introduced for 2024 in memory of former Epsom College Head, Emma Pattison, recognises an individual who consistently embodies compassion and kindness within their leadership role. The award exemplifies a person who fosters trust, contributes to team morale and makes a meaningful and positive impact on those around them.
