The Liverpool College boarders visited the Museum of Liverpool and learned all about the History of Liverpool. One of the most fascinating areas of the Museum was the Wondrous Place gallery. It is a gallery for internationally recognised talents across music, sport, cinema, and TV. Who knew so many talented people came from Liverpool?

Hi I have two albums of photos taken at what appears to be a boarding school in 1945/6. I don't know the school - there is only one photo showing any part of the exterior. The photos are excellent - the master who took them was clearly a gifted amateur. I'd like to try to trace the school and ask if they'd like the albums for their archives. I've attempted to scan the one with the exterior. It's firmly glued into the album, so apologies for the poor quality.

Congratulations to Portia Putatunda, founder of the Planet Spiti Boarding School in a remote part of the Himalayas, who is our first winner of BSA’s wonderful new Emma Pattison Award for Compassionate Leadership. BSA was delighted to present Planet Spiti Boarding School with an Honorary Membership this year.

The Emma Pattison Award for Compassionate Leadership has been introduced for 2024 in memory of former Epsom College Head, Emma Pattison, recognises an individual who consistently embodies compassion and kindness within their leadership role. The award exemplifies a person who fosters trust, contributes to team morale and makes a meaningful and positive impact on those around them.
