Millfield Golfer Dewi John has been selected to represent Wales in their upcoming U18 match against Ireland.
The international match will take place from 19-20 March, and will be hosted by Cardigan Golf Club in Wales. Upper Sixth Dewi, who is Golf Captain at Millfield, has continued his run of selections for the Welsh team, having taken part in Home Internationals against England, Ireland and Scotland last year. He’s aiming to represent his country in Germany at the European Championships in July as well as in the Home Internationals this season.
The budding sportsman joined Millfield for its unique golf provision and facilities, which enable him to train and play high-level golf while studying for his A levels.
Dewi is a day student at Millfield and is studying A levels in business studies, geography and PE. He hopes to gain a scholarship to an American university with an established golf programme so he can continue his studies whilst developing his golf further.
