KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF SUPPORT AND LEARNING
• Provide student support and further their personal, moral, physical and intellectual
development
• Safeguard and promote the welfare ofstudents in the Boarding house
• Support the Head of House and other House Parents in their roles
• Maintain a positive house culture and be a positive role model
• Liaise and communicate with the Head of House on all matters of boarding student life
• Help with the administration, organization and supervision of the boarding house including
after school activities
• Monitor and report the general progress and wellbeing of boarding students to the Head of
House
• Proactively manage the boarding house operations (staff and students) in the absence of the
Head of House

• A proactive individual with a genuine passion for working with young people
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to inspire trust and respect
• Flexible and adaptable, capable of managing the dynamic and varied responsibilities within
the boarding house
• Creative and enthusiastic, with the ability to plan and organize engaging activitiesthat enrich
the students’ experience
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead effectively, particularly in a residential or
educational setting
• Organizationalskills and attention to detail, with a readinessto handle administrative tasks
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare at all times
• Greatsense of humor, passion forsports and outdoor activities, diverse and open mindset
REQUIREMENTS
• A University degree and the ability to supportstudents’ academic progress
• Excellent command of the English language
• Additional languages(especially German) would be an advantage
• Boarding experience,school orsocial education work experience
• Experience in pedagogical/student pastoral care field (teaching/psychology qualification)
• Otherskillsto contribute to the schools’ extra-curricular program
• Resilience and flexibility
• An excellent knowledge ofsafeguarding young people
• Valid First Aid Certificate
