The annual SBF summer conference is an opportunity for practitioners working in state boarding to come together and receive an update on the current position of the state boarding sector, specifically addressing the issues raised by SBF members at their regular forum, and to hear from government departments including DfE, Ofsted, MOD and FCO.
Following the conference, we will host an open forum for all members and the SBF Executive Committee meeting.

Hi I have two albums of photos taken at what appears to be a boarding school in 1945/6. I don't know the school - there is only one photo showing any part of the exterior. The photos are excellent - the master who took them was clearly a gifted amateur. I'd like to try to trace the school and ask if they'd like the albums for their archives. I've attempted to scan the one with the exterior. It's firmly glued into the album, so apologies for the poor quality.
