The British School of Lomé
We are proud to be a part of the friendly and welcoming city of Lomé in Togo. We provide a high-quality British style education to both Togolese and expat children from around the World, with a unique local flavour and a strong French influence for our Francophone learners and parents.
The learners in the school come from over 36 countries and we enjoy celebrating this amazing diversity with events such as our International Week. A small international school such as ours enables us to have a very nurturing environment. Teachers have small classes which allows for greater interaction with each individual learner. Staff really get to know the personalities, strengths and areas for development for each one. This leads to the steady progress of every learner as they explore and develop new skills, from the Foundation Stage right up to the globally minded young adults studying for their IB diplomas in VI form and preparing for university and life beyond with confidence. All learners are encouraged to develop leadership skills and contribute to service projects locally and globally.
The boarding life at the British of Lomé is unique – a home-away-from-home experience. The school and boarding facilities are set in beautiful grounds in Résidence du Benin – CAISSE. This is Lome’s most select and attractive residential area. If you choose to board with us you will find a welcoming, caring community where the friends you make are for a lifetime.
