PE/Games Teacher

Fixed term maternity cover 

To start ASAP until June 2025, full time.

 

St John’s School, Sidmouth is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and suitably qualified PE/Games teacher to teach throughout the School. A qualification , or relevant experience, in teaching PE/Games would be particularly advantageous.

We are an independent day and boarding school for boys and girls, aged 2½-16 years, located on a hill, overlooking the sea, in the beautiful Regency town of Sidmouth. 

We are a relatively small school that caters for around 180 local day students, usually combined with around 30 international boarders, from more than 10 countries around the globe.

 

Academic expectations in the school are high, but we also believe that our students’ ability to communicate successfully, to consider the needs of others and to show drive, empathy, leadership and initiative are all attributes that will help them achieve success as well as make a significant contribution to society in later life.
