Our boarding house offers pupils a friendly atmosphere and a strong, supportive community of boarders. Our focus on personalised, bespoke pastoral care is unwavering as we empower our students to traverse the journey of being a teenager away from home. Our team of staff is collaborative, energetic and creative with constant opportunities to develop the students’ experience of key topical current affairs, self awareness and RSHE. Activities and events are commonplace as we deliver a provision for enrichment – ideas are always welcome as we expand.  With increasing numbers, children across all year groups will be offered the opportunity to flexi-board: we require a House Parent to lead and support our students to be future ready for their next steps.

About The Role 

The House Parent will be energetic and organised, someone who has a ‘can do’ attitude with some experience of working with in a boarding environment. This person will work with children of all ages, from 11 – 18 and there will be further opportunity in the future to develop boarding for our Prep students. The ability to think of the bigger picture whilst focusing on the day to day, is essential as well as showing initiative, providing a flexible approach and having a clear, confident communication style. Our Sixth Form students are heavily involved in the boarding lifestyle as we work with them to evolve a culture of professionalism, care and warmth. The House Parent role will be a crucial pivot to the development of boarding across the whole school.
