Whanganui Collegiate School is a leading Anglican coeducational, seven-day boarding and day school which has been providing first class education for 170 years. We are a Round Square Global school and offer Cambridge IGCSE at Year 11. Whanganui Collegiate School, has also completed the Boarding Schools Association (BSA Group) International Boarding Accreditation, placing WCS as the first school in New Zealand to complete this accreditation.
We seek a visionary teacher with a genuine interest, knowledge, and expertise in the pastoral care, growth, and development of young men in one of our boys’ boarding houses, home to both boarders and day students.
The successful candidate will have teaching, leadership, pastoral care, wellbeing, communication, and administration skills, together with a commitment to full boarding life at Whanganui Collegiate School.
Due to the nature of the Housemaster position the successful applicant will be required to live on site.
The position will start Term 1, 2025.
