We are seeking to appoint a Gap Residential Assistant with a keen interest in working with young people.  This is a term-time only role, with a fixed term from August 2024 to July 2025.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth running of the School on a daily basis. Your responsibilities will include assisting teachers in various classes across the age spectrum of the School, participating in activities on the sports pitches, in the swimming pool, managing duties within the boarding houses, and supervising students during break times, lunch queues, and other informal times.

Free accommodation is provided within a Boarding House, with separate self-contained sleeping quarters.  Meals are provided during term-time.

Godolphin is well known for its outstanding co-curricular provision.  A willingness and ability to engage in one or more of these areas is preferable. The role includes some evening and weekend duties, and full training to obtain qualified lifeguard status.  We have a Christian ethos; the successful applicant will be comfortable in supporting the spiritual life of the School.

The defined exception of ‘occupational requirement’ under the Equality Act 2010 applies to this role.  Therefore, applications are invited from female candidates only.
