Candidate Profile

We are seeking a talented and experienced Communications and Content Manager to join our dynamic marketing team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content creation, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strategic mindset to drive our brand’s messaging and storytelling efforts.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute content strategies to drive engagement and brand awareness across multiple marketing channels;
  • Spearhead the development and dissemination of engaging written content tailored for our website and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform;
  • Create high-quality written content for social media platforms, including posts, captions, and stories, to effectively communicate our brand’s message and engage our audience;
  • Write engaging and informative blog posts on relevant topics to increase website traffic and establish thought leadership in our sector;
  • Craft compelling marketing emails and newsletters to promote products, services, and company updates, ensuring consistency in brand voice and messaging;
  • Manage the content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content across all marketing channels, coordinating with internal teams to align content with marketing campaigns and initiatives;
  • Optimize website content to improve search engine visibility and enhance user experience, collaborating with the SEO team to incorporate relevant keywords and best practices;
  • Manage the development and regular updates of internal and external publications such as newsletters, handbooks, brochures, flyers, event communications and other marketing and communication materials;
  • Support in the development of creative and impactful advertising copy for digital and print advertisements to drive customer acquisition and sales;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing and communication strategies, recommending innovative approaches to enhance our brand’s presence and reach; and
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, admissions, design, Senior Leadership Team and faculty to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with faculty and marketing team to create nominations for awards from esteemed and respected educational organizations that can raise brand awareness and recognition.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in content creation, copywriting, or communications roles, preferably in a marketing or advertising agency environment.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing principles and best practices, including SEO optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for storytelling and crafting compelling narratives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles and experience with multimedia content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of American English spelling and punctuation is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Certification in content marketing, digital marketing, or related areas.
  • Experience working with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite) and email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Previous experience in managing a team of content creators or writers.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR) related to content creation and communications.
