Framlingham College is a co-educational day and boarding school comprising of the Prep School in the stunning surroundings of Brandeston Hall, and the Senior School which is set in the beautiful market town of Framlingham, overlooking the Castle.
We wish to appoint an experienced and ambitious Commercial Manager to drive growth and realise the School’s commercial potential. The position will lead the College’s Commercial operations, with responsibility for developing and delivery commercial plans that generate essential non-school fee income (through the letting of school facilities, hospitality events and other opportunities).
The post holder will be accountable for financial management of the department, driving new revenue streams and meeting income targets, as well as day-to-day operations including maintaining and building excellent customer relations, refining process, policy and procedure, and coordination of the existing commercial calendar.
The Commercial Manager must have a strong business sense with both a sales and operations focus. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate an innovative commercial mindset and strong financial awareness, coupled with exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication skills to develop positive, collaborative and productive relationships with key stakeholders.
The post is offered on a year-round basis. Core business hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday, with the need to work flexibly and across non-core hours during peak commercial periods. The salary for the post is £34k.
