BOARDING HEALTH LEAD TUTOR

FULL TIME- September 2022

Claremont School is a co-educational, independent day and boarding school. We have approximately 700 students with a community of approximately 80 boarders from the UK as well as other countries around the world, adding an important international and multicultural dimension to the school.

We are seeking for a caring, dynamic and enthusiastic HEALTH LEAD TUTOR to join our senior boarding house, situated in the town of St Leonards-on-Sea, with a view to start in September 2022. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in the welfare of young people and will be prepared to go the extra mile. Good organisational and communication skills are essential to thrive in our international boarding community and to be an effective member of the boarding team.

The Health Lead Tutor has specific responsibility for the day to day health matters in the House and works closely with the School Nurse. No medical experience is required. This post is term-time only, with the hours of work being 40 hours a week. Previous boarding experience is an advantage but full training will be provided. This job will suit a caring and practical person interested in taking charge of this key aspect of boarding life, whilst working closely within a well-managed and supportive environment.
