Epsom College is an independent co-educational day and boarding school on the edge of Epsom Downs.

We are seeking a skilled AV Technician who is able to deliver and support a wide remit in terms of both its audio visual and events commitments, during the College’s academic year, and during the holiday periods for the Commercial Events.   This role is part of the AV Technical and Events support team facilitating school and commercial events.

 

This position is responsible for helping to deliver technical requirement for both commercial and school led events, Commercial & Events Manager to ensure requirements are met and that high standards are maintained.  The College has a large concert space, a multi-purpose hall, a lecture theatre, two performing arts studios as well as a number of other meeting or performance spaces.  There are also plans underway to create a new recording studio in the Music department.

 

The successful candidate will have proven experience working as an AV technician in a similar setting or venue. You will be able demonstrate knowledge of digital audio and audio-visual equipment and software and its use in relation to live, recorded and play-back techniques and have experience of providing high quality audio visual for live events.  You will have experiencing of using both PC and Mac and strong IT skills.  You will be an excellent communicator with a “can do” approach and enjoy working within a school environment.  This is an ideal opportunity to gain further training and development.
