Mental Health First Aiders need to have:
This course explores normal mental health and when normal becomes unhealthy. It gives the holder an in-depth knowledge of the complexities behind management and diagnosis. It helps the holder identify what could be done in the workplace to prevent mental health issues develop and how to support those returning to work after a period off sick.
This detailed course enhances skills and helps the holder gain confidence when supporting others.

Nick Ellis
Nick is a Director of JJ Ellis Ltd, a provider of training services based in London and the South of England. Feedback from delegates is overwhelmingly positive, with Nick’s enthusiasm and passion for the subject ensuring that all participants are getting from the training everything they can.
Outside JJEllis, Nick was a front line serving Police Officer in London for over 17 years where he had to deal with mental health crises as well as supporting colleagues.
During his time in the Police, in addition to his front line work he has also run a school’s team and been seconded to the Prince’s Trust to work as a team leader. Prior to the Police, Nick worked as a sound and lighting engineer within Theatre.
Nick has been an MHFA instructor since 2014 and he combines the theoretical knowledge delivered in the courses with his own practical experience as a serving Metropolitan Police Officer, theatrical lighting engineer, youth worker with the Prince’s Trust and Scout Association. In addition to his professional interest in this area, he also has a son with autism, bringing a very personal reason for his passion.

Hi I have two albums of photos taken at what appears to be a boarding school in 1945/6. I don't know the school - there is only one photo showing any part of the exterior. The photos are excellent - the master who took them was clearly a gifted amateur. I'd like to try to trace the school and ask if they'd like the albums for their archives. I've attempted to scan the one with the exterior. It's firmly glued into the album, so apologies for the poor quality.
