This set will be £500 for a member series place.

This webinar will explore the issues people might feel when changing jobs and schools and offer some hints and tips on developing an effective Induction / Outduction programme for all concerned, helping them on their way to the next steps in their lives and careers with a positive mindset.

A great induction for staff and students who are new to a school, enables all stakeholders to enjoy their first few months at school and make a positive start to their Boarding journey. This increases their ability to quickly become part of your school and feel supported and enthusiastic about the next step in their careers and life.

An effective Outduction programme will enable your school leavers to have an effective toolkit of skills and knowledge to face the outside world with confidence and excitement and your leaving staff to spread the word that your school is a great place to work.

Training topics will include:

  • Meeting the needs of Staff and students who are new to your school
  • Hints and tips for developing an effective Induction process for welcoming your new staff and students
  • Hints and tips for developing an effective Outduction process for your leaving staff and students.

Learning outcomes:

  • The importance of first impressions and how a positive experience can generate long term satisfaction within a school environment
  • Ways in which your school could improve the Induction and Outduction of Boarders and new House staff.
  • How important it is that students and staff who are leaving become advocates for your school in the wider world.
