We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic group of leading independent schools. Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, this role is central to producing high-quality visual communications that uphold and enhance the Schools’ brand identities. From designing digital assets to print publications, the Graphic Designer will play a key part in shaping the visual narrative across campaigns, events, and core marketing materials. Collaborating with the central marketing team and local school staff, the successful candidate will deliver creative, engaging designs that resonate with internal and external audiences and reflect the values and aspirations of our Schools.

The Graphic Designer is responsible for the creation and development of visually compelling designs that support the Schools’ brand identities across all touchpoints. This role is focused entirely on graphic design, producing a range of digital and print materials, and ensuring consistency and creativity in all visual communications.
Job Description
General
• Design and produce a wide range of marketing and communication materials, including brochures, flyers, event programmes, newsletters, advertisements, and signage
• Develop graphics and layout templates for digital use, including website banners, social media assets, email campaigns, and digital advertising
• Work closely with key stakeholders to create and maintain a library of templates and designs assets that can be utiltised across the Schools e.g. PPW, Letterheads.
• Ensure all design work aligns with the Schools’ visual identity and brand guidelines. Work with the Editorial Content Officer and Marketing Assistant to deliver integrated and impactful campaigns
• Lead on the visual design key school materials, for examples, prospectus, annual reports, and strategic publication
• Manage all design requests, timelines and workflows, meeting deadlines across multiple concurrent projects using our team dashboard workflow on Monday.com
• Provide creative input on campaign development and branding evolution
• Prepare final artwork for print, liaising with external printers and suppliers when necessary.
• Support the design and creation of School Magazines in house where required
• Keep up to date with current design trends to develop design solutions that will make our audience stop and engage with visual flair and creativity
• Lead on the creation of all print requirements for key events such as Open Mornings
• Maintain a well-organised design asset management system, ensuring templates, graphics, and brand assets are up-to-date and easily accessible in shared locations

Qualifications and Skills
Desirable
• Educated to Honours degree or equivalent professional qualification
• Digital Marketing, Graphic Design or relevant qualifications and certifications
Experience and Knowledge
Essential
•A minimum of 2 years’ experience within marketing, graphic design or related field
•Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite platforms, in particular InDesign and Photoshop
•Excellent attention to detail and proof reading skills
•Strong stakeholder management, organisational and planning skills
•Ability to multi-task and prioritise work
•Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
•Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook)
•Knowledge of existing and new design trends
•A proven interest in graphic design and visual content
Desirable
•Experience of working in an educational environment
•Working knowledge of CMS website systems
•Video editing experience would be a positive i.e After Effects
•Portfolio of work demonstrating typography and layout skills, print and digital graphic design
