Farlington has truly lived up to its unique combination of strengths with my two daughters – both thrived as human beings, developing independence with healthy self-confidence and a most caring respect for other people, making friends for life. Both very different characters, Farlington has surprised and delighted me in treating them differently yet making each of them feel highly appreciated and respected in their own rights. The personal and pastoral care has been second to none and just what young girls needs in their early teenage years in this fast changing and challenging world. The academic opportunities and coaching have been outstanding – offering them every opportunity they wanted to follow up, rewarding them with scholarships and laying the foundations for succeeding in the best educational places. For example, my oldest daughter is now studying in Cambridge. My younger daughter has been taking early GCSEs with great success. Both musical and sporty with different talents, Farlington has offered them different ways of making their mark: the musical development, most important for a rounded education – is extraordinary in Farlington and all inclusive with concerts being the highlight of the girls-teacher-parents gatherings; both my daughters have continued to be keen on sports throughout their teenage years given the inclusive team sports at the schools where everyone can take part – its not just about winning. As a parent, I have always felt included, been listened too and have been able to build close relationships with the teachers of my daughters during their important years of senior school - something quite rare, and hence precious, compared to other senior schools. I would never hesitate to recommend Farlington to my friends daughters if they are looking for a caring, individualistic and talent focused educationMrs Evans-Schoenauer Year 11 parent
