The Boarding Schools' Association is the United Kingdom Association serving and representing member boarding schools, training staff and promoting boarding education.
National Standards
The National Boarding Standards cover the full range of welfare, health and policy issues that occur in boarding schools. It was produced by a committee of representatives from a range of boarding independent and state school associations and government departments.
Annual Review
The Annual Review of the Association shows what the BSA has achieved in the past year, including membership numbers, training up-dates and conference reports as well as any changes within the Association.
Advisory Service
The BSA responds to requests for advice from anyone interested in Boarding Education, both state and independent. There are specialist advisors for independent boarding education specifically ISCias and the DCSF, and for state boarding education, SBSA.
Consultancy Service
The BSA is pleased to advise member schools on all issues concerned with boarding education.
This consultancy service covers the National Minimum Standards for Boarding Schools, boarding inspections and marketing boarding as well as many others.
