Why should you attend?
Boarding schools are extremely busy places and this seminar offers an opportunity for managers looking to develop, build and embed a culture of wellbeing throughout their school. Often forced to the periphery, the wellbeing of both pupils and staff should lie right at the centre in any successful organisation.
This seminar is designed for those who want to find out more and learn some practical ways of moving this vital area forward in their school.

Andrew Lewin, Director of Training and International, BSA
Andrew Lewin joined the BSA as Director of Training and International in August 2017. He manages the Training and International team within the BSA and delivers the largest CPD programme to boarding staff in the world. Prior to joining the BSA he lived and working in boarding literally all his life. He has been the Head in three boarding schools, as well as Deputy Head, Housemaster, Head of Geography, Master i/c Rugby, Hockey and Cricket, and Director of Development.
He has been an ISI Team Inspector and a Governor of an independent boarding school. He has also served on the local safeguarding children’s board in North Yorkshire and Cheshire, where he organised and delivered training for both local authorities and independent schools.
Mandy Saligari, Founder and Clinical Director, CHARTER Harley Street
Mandy Saligari is the founder and Clinical Director of CHARTER Harley Street, which was set up in 2008. Using her pioneering model of care to break the mould in addiction treatment, CHARTER has earned itself a solid reputation for clinical excellence and sustained recovery outcomes successfully treating addiction solely in an outpatient setting.
Having come into recovery herself in 1990, Mandy combines her personal and clinical experience as a highly respected and established clinician – passionate about helping people live healthy, happy, addiction free lives and raising awareness around the profound value of self-esteem. Mandy’s current clinical practice comprises group work, couples’ work, family work and individual work. Mandy is a regular contributor to press and television with her flagship Channel 5 programme ‘In Therapy’ now in its third series.
Mandy’s enthusiasm is infectious as she dispels the myths surrounding addiction and in her commitment to public speaking and in schools on early intervention, addiction, emotional coping mechanisms and self-esteem.
