Due to growth we are looking to recruit a skilled and hands on individual to the role of Assistant Bursar. This new position will assist the Bursar to deliver many aspects of financial, human resources and estate management in an effective and efficient way. The successful candidate will hold an Accountancy qualification, be approachable, enthusiastic and flexible as this role will be involved in a wide range of jobs across the school. Experience of working in an educational establishment is desirable but not essential.

Own transport is required as there is no public transport available.

Job Title: Assistant Bursar

Pay: £28k- £32k pending qualifications and experience

Holiday: 25 days annual leave plus all Bank Holidays

Hours: 37.5 hours per week all year round

Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm (Flexible) 30 min unpaid lunch break

Accountable To: Bursar

Probation Period: One Term

Contract: Permanent

Special Terms: Holidays to be taken in consideration to the operational requirements of the financial accounts responsibilities.
