How Boarding School Can Help to Improve Outcomes

Barnardo's help children through the trauma of sexual abuse and exploitation. They provide support for young people in care – and don’t forget about them when they leave the care system.

And that’s not all. Their specialist workers support families through domestic abuse, mental health problems, prison sentences, asylum seeking and much more. They amplify the voices of young people to influence Government on the issues that affect their lives, fighting their corner and making sure their voices are heard.

The scale of what they do may be big and complex, but their aim is simple – to provide the best outcome for every child, no matter who they are or what they have been through.

The British Association of Independent Schools with International Students BAISIS strives to support those who provide education at different levels to international students in independent schools, colleges and study centres.

EPIC Risk Management are the leading independent gambling harm minimisation consultancy in the UK; focusing on the highest prevalent sectors. EPIC identify and reduce the brand, reputational, financial and human risks caused by gambling in the workplace.

The Welsh Independent Schools Council (WISC ) is the umbrella body representing Independent schools in Wales.  The majority of children in Welsh independent schools are in WISC schools.  WISC therefore speaks for the sector as a whole.  WISC is strictly independent of all political parties.
